Group Exhibition Plastic Love
Taro Yakumo participated in the group exhibition “Plastic Love,” held at LUV Contemporary Art Gallery from January 26 to February 26, 2024.
Located in Samcheong-dong, one of Seoul’s most prominent cultural districts, LUV Contemporary Art Gallery is known for its focus on emerging and mid-career artists, presenting works that reflect current movements within contemporary art. The gallery operates within a neighborhood that houses major museums, galleries, and cultural institutions, making it a central hub for artistic activity in Seoul.
The exhibition “Plastic Love” brought together a selection of artists exploring themes of contemporary culture, materiality, and perception. Within this context, his artwork engaged with a broader dialogue surrounding visual language and the shifting values embedded in modern society.
