Art Fair Asia Fukuoka 2023

Taro Yakumo participated in Art Fair Asia Fukuoka 2023 (AFAF), on  Artglorieux Gallery, held from September 22 to 24, 2023, at Marine Messe Fukuoka.

Artglorieux Gallery, operated by Daimaru Matsuzakaya Department Stores, has played an active role in promoting contemporary art through both exhibitions and art fairs. Through this presentation, his artwork was introduced within a broader commercial and cultural context.

Art Fair Asia Fukuoka, widely known as AFAF, has rapidly grown in recent years and is now recognized as one of the largest art fairs in Japan, following Art Fair Tokyo. The fair brings together galleries, collectors, and artists from across Japan and the wider Asian region.
