Group Exhibition SIGNS OF A NEW CULTURE vol.13
Taro Yakumo participated in the group exhibition “SIGNS OF A NEW CULTURE vol.13,” held at Artglorieux GALLERY OF TOKYO, located within GINZA SIX, from April 27 to May 10, 2023.
This exhibition brought together artists whose practices reflect evolving cultural values, presenting works that move beyond conventional artistic frameworks and engage with contemporary visual and conceptual language. Blending influences from art, music, and fashion, the exhibition highlighted the expanding role of art as an integral part of broader cultural expression.
Artglorieux GALLERY OF TOKYO is situated on the 5th floor of GINZA SIX, one of Tokyo’s most prominent cultural and commercial destinations. Since its opening, GINZA SIX has actively hosted large-scale installations and exhibitions by internationally recognized contemporary artists, establishing itself as a key platform within the global art landscape.
Within this context, his artwork was presented as part of a curated selection of artists contributing to the development of new cultural perspectives. The exhibition emphasized the transition of contemporary art from a temporary trend into a sustained cultural force, positioning participating artists within this evolving narrative.
